The experience was second to none, the history behind the donation of the property for the museum was so pathetic and motivation, it is indeed a place worth exploring

Great local museum loads of activities for kids of all ages. Full of interesting exhibits. It's rare that Kirklees can be commended for anything, but this place is excellent.

Welcoming helpful staff, great historical stories to view, well laid out artifacts, photographs and models, and seating inside and out to have a hot, or cold drink with, or without a snack. Major downside, no Lift, or visible access for people with physical impairments, or wheelchair users, this is unacceptable in a public access building!

Tolson Memorial Museum is a wonderful place and is special to all the people of Huddersfield . Anyone ,whether from the area or just visiting should go, the bird room, now fully restored is a sight to see on its own, created by our very own local version of Charles Darwin,Seth Lister Mosley. Long may our Museum prosper.

Lovely place to go to break up your weekend, educationally but fun for the children. The museum is lovely and brings back my childhood memories as well.

Staff were very friendly. Exhibition was a bit formulaic. You can have, a coffee and chill downstairs. Free parking. Usual geology, fossils, stuffed birds. Not a lot of interactive stuff. Ok for a wet day. But l wouldn't waste the fuel to travel to get there.
